Tarrant Dermatology Consultants was founded in 1987 by Board Certified Dermatologist, Dr. D. Scott Miller. The expansion of our practice welcomed Dr. Boris Ioffe (specializing in general and surgical dermatology) and Certified Physician Assistants (PA-Cs) including Chandler Thibodaux, Laura White, and Lauren Harr. Our healthcare providers are supported by a group of highly skilled nurses and assistants whose top priorities include patient care and overall satisfaction.
Our Fort Worth office is located in a state-of-the-art facility in the medical district downtown. We have also added a second location in Weatherford’s hospital district to better accommodate our patients in the western counties.
Both offices offer general and surgical dermatology services related to the skin, hair, and nails. In addition, our Fort Worth office provides minimally-invasive aesthetic procedures and products for patients who have concerns with aging or problematic skin.
Our office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM and Friday from 8:00AM to 3:00PM (closed daily for lunch from 11:30AM to 1:00PM). Most insurance plans are accepted for medically-necessary services at both locations and our team is trained to help you determine your coverage at our practice. We also offer financing through CareCredit to assist patients with aesthetic procedures.

My son has battled eczema since birth and our original dermatologist couldn’t get it under control and was very hard to get into. I made him an appointment here and our wait time wasn’t bad, the staff was beyond awesome and the PA Lauren Harr and her nurse were wonderful. The PA was attentive and has us trying new therapies for my son’s skin. Last night was the first night with no ‘itchies’. Hopefully this continues, but a great first appointment.
I recently saw Laura White for a few cosmetic procedures and couldn’t be happier! I was a bit hesitant at first, as I had a bad experience with a provider at a different practice a few years ago… basically, I had scar tissue from a lip injection gone wrong. A friend suggested Laura to me and I decided to go in for a consult. She was amazing- made me feel comfortable and answered every single question I had (and that was a LOT). After our consultation, I booked my appointment for lip injections and Dysport. I wanted a very subtle change that looked natural and that’s exactly what I got! I will tell anyone who is thinking about doing this, the first few days your lips will be swollen and possibly look uneven. I got my injections on a Friday, and Saturday morning when I woke up my lips were about 3 times the size I wanted them to be. However, I didn’t panic because this is exactly what Laura had told me would happen and I was prepared for that. As long as you ice them, the swelling will subside within a few days. By Monday, I was able to go back to work and not one person asked me about my lips (which is what I wanted- a subtle change). All of the swelling was gone by Tuesday and I was left with the perfect pout! If you are on the fence about lip injections, as long as you go to Laura you will be 100% satisfied. I also got Dysport on my forehead and am very happy with the way that turned out as well… natural-looking. Sorry for the long review, I just felt compelled to tell everyone how wonderful my experience was and that I highly recommend Laura White and Tarrant Dermatology!
I’m really enjoying the product line and my skin seems to be responding well too. I love how my skin feels in the morning before I even put on makeup – like I just had a facial but without the redness or irritation. I’m pretty confident that as my breakout continues to clear, I will be even happier with my skin’s appearance and the results. I’m especially digging the oil control pads and the primer/sunscreen which is interesting since those are the “new” steps to my morning routine.
Great doctors in this group!
I took my 16 yr. old daughter, Charlsie Lee, in today for a first time visit. She saw Chandler Thibodaux, one of the PA’s in the office. She was excellent with her explanations of why and how on my daughters simple issues on acne and such. Great lady. She gave us a coupon to save money on an over the counter medicine, as well as a referral to a mail order pharmacy for a RX that was $609.35 at Walgreen’s but only $35.00 from mail order. That is healthcare customer service to the max.
I tried their products and they are amazing! I recently used the ZO Skin Health Exfoliating Polish and the Overnight Recovery Creme and my skin feels amazing.
We go back many years. Excellent doctors and PAs. Highly recommend!
I love it here. Chandler is such a nice and sweet woman.
I have been going to them for almost 30 years. Great people. Highly recommend.
We love Laura White!
I am so glad I contacted Tarrant Dermatology about my son’s acne problems. My mom actually used them years ago when she had some ongoing skin irritations. After all the great things she said about them I decided to give them a try with my son’s skin care. The doctor we saw was very knowledgeable & took the time to explain things to us about what was actually going on with his skin and how to treat it. I felt very confident in the information we received. The front office staff was very nice and explained the bill to me in a way I could understand. We never felt confused throughout the whole visit and did not feel neglected (like at some doctor’s offices). I am very appreciative of all the caring staff at Tarrant Dermatology!
Wonderful office. I have been going here since I was 16 years old. I do not have to wait hours for my appointments and Dr. Miller is very thorough with his examinations. I also had a 1 hour free consult with the aesthetician. Even the PA is awesome! She was so helpful and informative to my husband! She was so helpful and I didn’t feel rushed! Great customer service! Thanks!
My GP asked me to go to check on some moles. I KNEW there was no problem but she’d lost two patients to melanoma so I went to satisfy her. The Dr. was very reassuring. There was no problem whatsoever. While there he also removed a little skin tag that had bothered me for some time. Snip, snip and I was outta there. Good “bedside” manner and I didn’t have to disrobe. It was a great experience and I would recommend this place to anyone.
Dr. Ioffe removed a pre-melanoma skin cancer from my cheek. His surgery was quick, painless and thorough. All of the pre-cancerous cells were removed. The resulting scar was minimal and healed quickly. He was very professional and good with his surgery.
I went to have a mole and skin tags removed, the PA was friendly! The procedure was painless for the most part.
I wouldn’t go to anybody else. I went to him when my insurance didn’t cover him because he’s just the one I trust. He has helped me more than any other dermatologist ever had. If I ever need dermatology services, he’s the one I’ll use.
I had a consultation about Raynaud’s disease. The doctor was very thorough and spent lots of time with me.
I had several moles on my legs that I wanted to have checked out. I was 1 hr early for the appointment but they were able to get me in 30 mins before the original appt. time. The ladies in the front office were very friendly. I was assured they were not suspicious looking but they could be taken off if I desired. The PA did say I had sun damage on my chest and prescribed a lotion to apply daily. She was very professional and pleasant.
They have several doctors there, Dr. Miller is my doctor. He actually has a PA, physician assistant, very professional, easy to get in to see her, thorough, answers questions well. She also treats my mother who is elderly, and she is extremely patient with my mother and listens very well.
They are very good and thorough. My husband had lots of skin problems and they just took very good care of him. When it became necessary for him to have a more specialized service, they were fantastic in recommending that. We didn’t have any trouble getting in, we got in within a week or two.
I had several spots on my face that looked “different.” I was seen by PA Laura White on two separate occasions. I was very pleased with the over-all experience with Laura White and Tarrant Dermatology in general. I had been into the office a month or so earlier and the PA I had seen was leaving the practice so they set my next appointment up with Laura. I was concerned about two spots on my face possibly being cancerous. Laura reassured me that she didn’t think they were but did remove them and then sent them to the lab to make sure. I had several other spots which I had been told by the other PA could be removed. Laura said she could cauterize them and that it wouldn’t leave a scar. She did them that day and when I returned for the follow-up and to get the results from the biopsy, they had healed. Laura is energetic and positive, a joy to be seen by, she really seems to care and gave me ample time to get all of my questions out. I would recommend Tarrant Dermatology as they can get you in fairly quickly, and give you plenty of time, unlike some other dermatologists I have seen in Fort Worth.
I heard about them through a friend of mine. I like that they are compassionate. She is very skilled. She did surgery on my mom to remove skin cancer. There was barely a scar. It was a rather large skin cancer. She did a beautiful job.
Dr. Miller is our dermatologist. He examined me for any type of skin cancer issues. I started seeing him in November 2009. My wife also sees him. We’ve each had a couple of appointments. He is very good and very thorough. He is very personable and his bedside manner is excellent. He will sit down and answer questions and I don’t have to push him. He is not in a rush. They do Medicare. We will absolutely continue to use them.
I had a basal cell carcinoma, and they referred me to a surgeon to take care of it. We see a PA there. She is just real personable and thorough. She listens to us and takes care of our needs. They are pretty easy to get into.
Their services were good. They’re timely. I’ve liked them so far. I’ve only used them once and I’m going back tomorrow.
They know what they are doing. I see a PA there and she is very good with what she does. She takes care of the little stuff. The bedside manner is good.
Printed new patient forms from their website, had them filled out and arrived 10 minutes for my appointment time. I do recommend this approach. During my few minutes wait, another patient hadn’t done this, and was still filling out paperwork when her name was called. Went back on time, and Ms. White went over the options for my procedure, which in some ways was a simple one. We decided what on appeared would give the best results and she began working. Answered all of my questions, and explained things as we went along. Bandaged up and I was checking out 40 minutes later. Can’t report on my results yet, but expect to have no problems and to be satisfied completely. Very pleased with my experience.
I was referred there by my general doctor. It was good and I would send my friends there. It’s a very nice office and I understand that they have another office in Fort Worth as well. The rest of the staff was very pleasant and his treatment was excellent. I plan on going back.
